Why Arbonne's for me... Business Update 001

Today I attended my first in person training for my business as an Arbonne Independent Consultant.


It really got me thinking about where I want to be in my business and as a result, I thought I'd document here how I got started.

I've been a lover of Arbonne products for many years. It started after trying a good handful of different Protein Powder's and settling on Arbonne Protein Powers as my favorites. 

It wasn't until our first lockdown in 2020 that I made a commitment to myself to lose a few kilos and cut back on the drinking.  I ordered some protein power from my consultant and earned a free Arbonne night moisturizer as a gift.  I absolutely loved it, and it got me thinking, if this is how good the night moisturizer is I wonder what the other products in the skin care range are like. Needless to say, I fell in love and my skin is thanking me for it.


When you earn a free gift it's such a great opportunity to experience 
new products without the added expense.


My weight loss journey at the time was more of a journey of self-improvement.  As such I found myself following a few Arbonne Independent Consultants on social media and I couldn't help but be caught up in the desire to surround myself with likeminded people.

I started to ask myself, 'why not me?' and then straight after I would convince myself that all was not what it seemed, and it was all just a show.  But slowly and surely, I let go of the doubt and focused on the desire to align with women who were self-motived and consistently pushing themselves to be better.  I signed up to become an Arbonne Independent Consultant.

The ongoing training and support have been amazing.  I love hearing from those who have built successful business's and feeding off their knowledge and support.

Once I decided to do this I really wanted to think about my why?

I want to earn more money!

  • I don't want to be limited to what I can earn in my corporate role.
  • I want to diversify my income streams.
  • I want to have a business that can earn an income even when I'm not actively working.

Tom Corley, a financial planner and author of the book “Rich Habits,” conducted a study
on the daily habits of wealthy individuals and found that most 
self-made millionaires generated their income from multiple sources.


I want to work in a business I'm passionate about.
  • I already knew I loved the products.
  • I believed in the quality of the products and ethics of the business.
  • I was excited about the opportunity to share this with other people (whether that be products they wish to purchase, or supporting them in a business, as others had supported me)

So here I am after attending my first in person event, I'm not going to lie, I was so nervous about attending and not knowing anyone.  But thankfully as always, I had support from my upline. I never felt alone and was fortunate enough to be introduced to some of the wonderful people in the business. 

I've been slowly building my customer base but am really keen to take it to the next level.  So, with that said, I'm going to set myself some really stretched goals, because I want to grab life with both hands and achieve things, I can be really proud of.
