Nothing beats a cooked brekkie to celebrate the weekend.
So, I thought I'd share this recipe for Protein Pancakes.
They're quick and easy, even the teenagers can make them!!
Ingredients
1 ripe banana
1 egg
1 scoop (1/3 cup) of Arbonne Vanilla Protein Power
Fruit (to serve)
Drizzle of maple syrup (to serve)
Method
Peel and place banana in a bowl and mash using a folk.
Add egg and mix well.
Add the vanilla protein powder and mix again.
Heat up a nonstick fry pan, place spoonful's of mixture in pan and use the back of the spoon to flatten.
Flip after a minute or two (once golden) and once cooked through from both sides remove from fry pan to serve.
Serve with chopped fruit and a drizzle of maple syrup.
*Recipe makes approx. 3-4 palm size pancakes
Mix it up!
You can purchase a variety of different flavoured protein powers from Arbonne, feel free to get creative.
If you want to sweeten the deal you could add choc chips to mix prior to cooking also.
