Word of the Year ~ 2024

A lot of people like to set a word for the year, a central compass to come back to time and time again throughout the year.

I decided this is something I would like to do for 2024, it's definitely been a few years, but it's a great way to tie together your goals and intentions.

What does this mean and why did I choose it?

1. a relationship in which a person or thing is linked or associated with something else.

I've been thinking a lot about what I want for 2024, on a personal and professional level and it always comes back to connection.

I want to build on the new relationship I have with my team at work in my corporate job.

I want to build and support my customers through my business.

I'm working on creating community through health and fitness, starting with a walking group.

I'm always focused on my family unit and encouraging connection on an individual level and as unit.

I also need to have the courage, to leave behind the connections that are not positively impacting me too.

Connection is everything.

On an individual note, I really want to elevate in my business, promote to the next level.  None of this will come unless I am genuine in building connection with my customers.  I trust that if I focus on connection the rest will follow.
