Dream Believe Achieve ... Business Update 003

At the start of each year, the wonderful leaders in our team run a two day conference, to allow everyone to come together, be inspired and set their intentions for the year.

I had moments leading up to the conference where I said to myself:

'I haven't done enough to warrant going, maybe by next year'

'Gawd how would I hold up socially for two whole days in a room full of people I don't know'

'I just don't think I can justify the investment'

But then, I have been working on my self-belief and started thinking:

'I haven't done enough in my business yet, I really need this in my life right now to help guide me in the right direction'

'I really need to put myself outside of my comfort zone, how will I ever get to know people if I'm not prepared to put myself out there'

and lastly,

'I am worthy of the investment!'

With the support of my direct team, accommodation was booked, and tickets were bought.  Wowee, what a wonderful weekend, it's challenging to even put it into words. 

I was so inspired!

I was so grateful to be surrounded by people who hold similar visions to me.

And I felt so empowered because of the belief those in my team held for themselves and for me.

The stories people shared were fabulous, people where vulnerable and pushed me to really deep dive inward to work out what I truly want. There were laughs, there were tears.  Honestly!  I usually try and keep that side of my tucked right down where no one can find it.

My word for 2024 is connection and so I'm really proud of myself for pushing through my comfort zone. There is a saying "Success is on the other side of your comfort zone" and boy do I see and believe that.

The biggest challenge I truly face now is going form thinking to doing.  Having the conversations with people, asking the questions, what can I do to help you?  How can I be that person to empower others?
